When Users use or access this website www.gotifi.com and/or the Gotifi App (collectively, 'malaysia.gotifi.com Platform') and the services offered by Gotifi.com or third party operators (the 'Operators') via the Gotifi.com Platform (the 'Services') as described in this Privacy Policy, Gotifi.com may collect, process, store, use and disclose Users information that is obtained from Users when they access Gotifi.com Platform and/or use the Services in accordance with the terms set out in this Privacy Policy including personal information relating to or linked to a specific individual such as name, telephone number, email address, residential address, travel document information or any such information we have requested and Users have provided through the Gotifi.com Platform ('Personal Information').
'Users' when used in this Privacy Policy includes any person who accesses Gotifi.com Platform or use the Services.

• Scope of Terms
Gotifi.com retains the right to change, amend or modify the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy or any part thereof without prior notice, and by continuing to use the Gotifi.com Platform and/or the Services, Users are deemed to accept the updated, amended or modified Privacy Policy. Notwithstanding, Gotifi.com will obtain Users consent in the event that such changes reduce Users rights. Users shall stop accessing or otherwise using the Gotifi.com Platform and the Services if Users do not agree to all the terms and conditions in this Privacy Policy and/or any subsequent changes, amendments or modifications thereto.

• Collection of Information
We may collect Personal Information provided by Users while using or accessing the Gotifi.com Platform including information about how and when Users access the Gotifi.com Platform, or when Users sign up for a user account ('User Account') or book for any intended Services or when Users are using the Services. Users acknowledge and agree that they are providing their Personal Information to Gotifi.com voluntarily and if Users choose not to provide their Personal Information, Gotifi.com might not be able to offer/provide certain services such as creating a user account or making reservations.
1) Opening User Account
When Users sign up for a User Account or change any information of their User Account, we may collect their Personal Information, including but not limited to their name, email address, telephone number, username and password.
2) Accessing Gotifi.com Platform or the Services:
(a) When accessing the Gotifi.com Platform (even without a User Account or logging in), making reservations for any intended Services or using the Services, Gotifi.com may gather and process certain information (which may contain Personal Information from Users or non-personally identifiable information but nevertheless linked to their Personal Information) including without limitation to those set out below: (a) Details of usage of the Gotifi.com Platform including traffic data, length of user sessions and location data;
(b) Responses to surveys conducted by Gotifi.com and feedback on the Services and newsletters which we may publish, distribute or circulate;
(c) Information automatically gathered via the Gotifi.com Platform and stored in Gotifi.com server or the server of any third party service provider, including the log-in name and password for the User Account, device information (including unique device identifier), computers Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type, browser information, pages visited, and previous or subsequent sites visited; and
(d) Copies of correspondence either via e-mail, instant or personal messaging or otherwise, between Users and Gotifi.com, as well as between Users and the Operators.
3) Opening User Account
When accessing the Gotifi.com Platform via mobile devices, Gotifi.com may collect information about Users and their mobile device as stated above including location information if Users have given permission and configured their mobile device to provide such information or upload geo-tagged photos to the Gotifi.com Platform. We shall only use such location information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. For instance, we may suggest nearby Services or provide personalised content based on Users location information during their travel. If Users choose not to share their location with us, the mobile device's privacy settings can be changed at any time. However, take note that certain features of the Gotifi.com Platform may be affected by turning off the location sharing function We recommend Users contacting their mobile services provider or the device manufacturer, if they have any enquiries about their mobile devices' privacy settings,.
If Users make reservations for other persons via the Gotifi.com Platform, Gotifi.com may require personal information about such individual. Before providing their personal information to Gotifi.com, Users shall obtain all requisite permission of such individuals and ensure technologiesology understand and agree to this Privacy Policy.
• Storage of Information
Gotifi.com may transmit, process and store in our servers or the servers of third party services providers the Personal Information and other data we collect from Users so long as it is necessary to (i) comply with any contractual requirement that are essential to provide the Services, (ii) satisfy any legal, tax or accounting requirement or (iii) fulfil any of the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
When the Personal Information is no longer required for the abovementioned purposes, the data will either be deleted or anonymised or, if this is not possible (for example, because the Personal Information has been stored in backup archives), then the data will be securely stored.
If Gotifi.com intend to utilise the Personal Information for trend analysis or other analytical purposes, we will endeavour to anonymise or aggregate the data.
Gotifi.com will use reasonable efforts to protect the Personal Information and other data gathered and stored by Gotifi.com against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction, and to preserve appropriate physical, electronic and organisational procedures to ensure that are treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy, and.
We will implement strict procedures and security features once we have received Users information, to prevent unauthorised access. For the avoidance of doubt, Gotifi.com does not give any undertaking, representation, or warranty that the Personal Information provided to us will be secure at all times, and to the extent Gotifi.com has fulfilled its obligations, shall Gotifi.com shall not be responsible under any circumstances for any damages, losses, costs and expenses arising from unauthorised use or access to such Personal Information.
All payment transactions will be encrypted using online encryption technology including transactions carried out by any third-party payment processing services provider elected by us. Users are reminded that they are responsible for keeping their password confidential and not to share their password with any third party.
• Usage of Information
The Personal Information collected from Users are processed to the extent necessary for the provisions of services and performance of Gotifi.com contractual obligations. Other Personal Information collected will be used for direct marketing purposes and to improve the services.
For example, the Personal Information and other data collected via the Gotifi.com Platform or when purchasing the Services may be used to create a User Account, to constantly improve the Gotifi.com Platform and the Services, and to contact Users in relation to the Services. The Personal Information or such other data may also help improve customer support, achieve quicker purchase requests and provide timely notice of special offers and new Services.
Gotifi.com may contact Users from time to time for feedback on your use of the Gotifi.com Platform, or to offer special promotions or savings to Users, where Users have given consent to receive such communications. • Disclosure of Information
Gotifi.com may share and disclose the Personal Information and other data collected via the Gotifi.com Platform to third parties, which may be located outside Malaysia, and the circumstances under which they are disclosed may include:-
1) To successfully complete bookings or otherwise apply the Terms and Conditions, Personal Information may be shared with Operators or other third parties service providers acting on our behalf.
2) For visitors who have made reservations for any of the Services or intend to make one, to the relevant Operator in connection with such Services.
3) For an Operator, to any visitor in connection with the Services offered by such Operator.
4) To third-party service providers (including Google Analytics) employed to provide certain services on our behalf such as marketing, market research, web hosting services, data analysis and other customer services.
5) Disclosure pursuant to any order of court or requests by any governmental authority to the extent required by any applicable law to make such disclosure.
6) For the purpose of a corporate transaction within the Gotifi.com group of companies, acquisition, sale, merger, or other corporate reorganization or restructuring of our corporation.
7) For the purpose of protecting our rights and property.
8) In any other case, to any third parties with prior written consent from Users which Users can withdraw at any time.
Gotifi.com may also share with relevant third parties such as advertisers aggregate or anonymous information that does not contain any Personal Information or any personally identifiable information. Notwithstanding, these third parties may obtain information about the Users from other sources, which if combined with our aggregate information, may be personally identifiable to such Users.
The Personal Information may be transmitted outside of Malaysia, for any of the abovementioned purposes. Gotifi.com will take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate protections of the Personal Information if they are transferred to a country without adequate safeguards,. Such safeguards may consist of standard contractual clauses and/or any other appropriate cross-border transfer mechanisms.
Where Users leave the Gotifi.com Platform and/or are taken to other third party websites using links on the Gotifi.com Platform, any Personal Information provided to these third party websites are not subject to this Privacy Policy. Gotifi.com shall not be liable for any damages, losses, costs or expenses arising from disclosure of the Personal Information or other data to such third party websites.
