Whip out your tissues because there are no more free tolls for us! 

On 13 October, the government announced that motorists could enjoy using the Damansara-Shah Alam Elevated Expressway (DASH) for free, in conjunction with its opening ceremony. However, all free things must come to an end. As of Thursday (1 December), all motorists using the DASH Expressway will have to start paying for the toll charges.

Toll charges for the vehicle classes:

(i) Cars and Buses (RM2.30)

(ii) Taxis (RM1.20)

(iii) Lorries (RM4.60)

(iv) Trailers (RM6.90)

According to DASH, the tolls will be charged at three (3) DASH Expressway Toll Plazas – Denai Alam Toll Plaza, RRIM Toll Plaza (Kwasa Damansara) and Kota Damansara Toll Plaza. All toll collections will also be fully electronic, using the Touch ‘n Go Card, RFID and SmartTAG.
